Argie Lee Moberley, 80, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Life Care Center in Mount Vernon.

Argie was born in Wickliffe, Kentucky on July 11, 1937, the daughter of Clinton & Adeline (Poole) Curtis.  She was raised and attained her education in Kentucky.

On April 8, 1967 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Moberley.  They traveled the world as Lawrence was a 15 year veteran with the U.S. Army.  They settled in the Skagit Valley in 1986 after his discharge.

Argie was a longtime member of the LDS Church, Sedro-Woolley Ward and volunteered as the church librarian for over 20 plus years.

Argie is survived by her son, Pat Moberley and wife, Sharon of Lyman; daughters, Conalee Moberley of Oak Harbor and Karen Thompson of Concrete; 4 grandchildren, Alix, Janee’, Justin & Earl; 2 great-grandchildren, Lilly & Rosalie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence in 2010.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sedro-Woolley Ward.  Private interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.  Services are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.  Share memories of Argie and sign the online guest register
