For quite awhile, I didn’t like you much, Ben. But…as time went by, and I got to spend more time at your house, I developed a fondness for you and your ways. Never did get used to your loud bellows, though. Would always ‘jump’ when you’d holler about something. 😉 Still, there was a lot to like about you. When I saw how gentle you could be with our ‘mutual’ grand kids, I was touched. I didn’t know you were capable of that. My heart softened toward you that first time I witnessed that side of you.
Thank you for accepting me into your family. I will miss you more than I can say.
    Love always,
    Miss Connie
