Bettie Jo Dohve

Bettie Jo Dohve, age 60, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006 at the United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, WA.
She was born June 11, 1946 in Auburn, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Lola Hargett Atchley.
Bettie grew up in Kentucky attending school and served with the US Navy from 1964 to 1967. She was married to Dale Dohve on August 6, 1966 in Auburn, Kentucky. Bettie resided in Sedro-Woolley from 1976 to 1990 until moving to Rancho Cordova, CA and later Yuba City, CA, residing there until returning to Sedro-Woolley three months ago.
She was active in various Southern Baptist Churches assisting in day care activities. Bettie was a girl scout leader, foster parent, taught ESL in California, and was a former member of the Rebecca’s.
Bettie is survived by her husband Dale Dohve of Sedro-Woolley. Her children, Dale Dohve, Jr. and his wife Cecil of Mount Vernon, Deborah Jones and her husband Dan of Sedro-Woolley, and Justin Dohve and his wife Kori of Yuba City, CA. 3 grandchildren, Robert Jones, Adaam Jones, and Tony Bruno. 9 brothers and sisters, Bonnie Fulcher, Martine Thomas and her husband Junior, Robert Atchley and his wife Darlene, Gloria Snell and her husband Woody, Bobby Atchley, and Mattie Rittenberry all of Auburn, Kentucky, Carman Atchley and his wife Judy of Russellville, KY, David Atchley of Kansas City, Kansas, and Emily Atchley of Dearborn, MI. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Valley Baptist Church on John Liner Rd in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Harry Morris of Mount Vernon officiating. Memorials are suggested to North Puget Oncology in Sedro-Woolley. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
