Bonnie Kay Cook

Wednesday, May 4th, 2016

On Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the home of her daughter’s in Anacortes WA, our sweet Mom, Bonnie Kay Cook, age 76 went to Heaven, to be with her Love, Jerry.
Bonnie Kay (Sis) was born in Polson Montana April 13, 1940, the daughter of Richard and Lillian (Krause) Noble. In 1947, Bonnie moved with her family to Darrington WA, where she was raised and went to school. After completing High school, she was awarded a scholarship to Mary Beauty School in Seattle. This started a long career in beauty work. Mom also worked in the banking field, as well as the book keeper for Armstrong’s Appliance for years.
It was in Darrington that our parents met, she was 13 and he was 15. Their lives touched often until they finally married June 16, 1961. They had a love of music. Camping and fishing. But their pride was in their family. They raised 4 children with the same love and humor that was a part of them as a whole. They adored their grandchildren, and that double with their great grandchildren. Our Mom developed a love for quilting, as well as knitting and crocheting. Mom lost Dad to cancer 12 years ago and a big part of her went with him. Now they are together again forever…
Bonnie Kay left behind, her 4 children; Kristi Bost (David) of Anacortes, Kathi Robertson (Daniel) of Sedro Woolley, Kandi Weide (Ralph) of Burlington, Travis Cook (Kathy) of Camano Island; her siblings, Ted Noble (Sally) of Iola Kansas, Judy Blanton of Sedro Woolley, Bud Noble (Rose); sister in laws, Carol Noble of Camano Island, Bonnie Jean Jeroz, of Medford Oregon, and Malcolm Finner (Chris), of Woodinville California; her 9 beloved grandchildren, Stephani Bost (Mike Hartley), Sara Pugsley (David), Amie Long (Ryan), Grady Paul Robertson, Keith Weide (Maigen), Danyel Robertson (Casey Bainter), Haiden Michael Weide, Isaac Cook, Aaron Cook; 8 great grandchildren, Isabel and Gaby (Stephani), Hailey and Jared (Sara), Alex and Blake (Amie), Emilie (Grady), and Lillian (Keith), whom she adored. Let’s not forget her most loved pup, Jay Cee, as well as her many nieces and nephews, and family in Montana, California, and Oregon.
Bonnie Kay is preceded in death by the love she couldn’t live without, Jerry. Her parents Richard and Bunnie Noble, oldest brother Richard, Brother-in Law Edward Blanton, Mother – in- law, Beth, sister- in- law, Ruby, and brother- in- law, Clint.
We are planning a celebration of Mom’s life on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Riverfront Park in Sedro Woolley, WA.
Our family would like to take this time to give a heartfelt thanks to Island Hospital, San Juan Rehab and Care Center and Hospice of the Northwest for the loving care given to our Mom.
We will love you always and will miss you dearly, Mom, Gram, GG, and Sis.
P.S. Give Dad a hug

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. I am so grateful to get to spend some time with her, to see her smile, hold her hand & tell her how much I love her one last time. She made the journey she has been longing to make for a long time. She is with Uncle Jerry & Nannie & Poppa and I find comfort in that. Kristi, Kathi, Kandi & Travis, I am praying for peace & comfort for you and your families.
    Love you all.
