Bonnie Marie Springer, age 78, passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Washington. She was born July 24, 1929 in Brighton, Colorado, to Theodore and Lucille Emmerling Meyers.
Bonnie was a resident of Sedro-Woolley since 1975, coming here from Colorado. She worked for many years as a sales clerk and waitress. Bonnie enjoyed quilting, bird watching, reading, gardening and flowers; but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joy Eberly and Jaretta Osborne both of Sedro-Woolley and a son, Donnie Springer of Burlington. 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Peggy Trostel of Brighton, CO and Nina Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Eberly, a daughter, Jill Arnold, and a brother, Mike Meyers.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to North Puget Oncology or the Sedro-Woolley Library. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
When I was a small child we spent a lot of time with Bonnie. We even called her Grandma. I looked her up today and found her story her. My biggest memories of my time with her is saltine crackers with butter, her backyard, and the magnets on her fridge.
