Cheri Dahl passed away April 28, 2016 in Mount Vernon, Washington.
Cheri was born July 11, 1957 in New Berlin, New York. Her father, Elbert (Jack) Mead, had a wandering foot bringing the part of the family that included their mother, Bonnie Mead, and two sisters Gloria and Pam across the country from NY to Denver to LA to the Pacific Northwest. The majority of Cheri’s life was enjoyed in North Bend, Oregon. She enjoyed the life the Northwest offered but really would have enjoyed a warmer climate.
Cheri graduated from Marshfield High School in 1976. She enjoyed working for 20 years with First Interstate Bank. She worked for several additional years in a local title company learning about the real estate market.
Throughout the years Cheri loved many different things from running the sand dunes and snowmobiling to viewing the sights in Hawaii and the tulip fields in Skagit County Washington. Cheri loved the beauty of the outdoors and the sun on her face. She loved a nice bottle of wine and a good meal and a great joke. Shopping was probably her all time favorite hobby and she loved beautiful dresses, shoes, purses and the matching ensemble. She also loved

stuffed animals, and cats. Cheri loved her cats….
Cheri is preceded in death by her father, Jack Mead. She leaves behind many loved ones including her mother, Bonnie Mead of Concrete Washington; her sister & brother- in-law, Pam & Mike Westberg of Concrete Washington; her nephew, Ryan Evans (along with Ryan’s family – wife Carrie Evans, and their boys who truly loved Aunt Cheri); her brother & sister-in-law, Charlie & Chris Brigham of Waterville, New York; her sister & brother-in-law, Gloria & John Myers in Idaho Falls, Idaho; her nephew, Michael Myers; along with many friends and cousins scattered around the country. Cheri was deeply saddened and heartbroken by the estrangement with her son, Casey Hansen, over the past year.
Charissa (Cheri) Lynn Mead Dahl was laid to rest in Forest Park in Concrete, on May 3, 2016. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro- Woolley, Washington.

Cheri I hope you will forgive me for not calling back. I have been in an ugly depression and I had numerous messages on my phone that I didn’t even listen to. My heart dropped to the floor when I saw your Obituary. I listened to the messages and I feel so horrible that I didn’t get to tell you that I love you and now it is too late. Rest in peace sweet girl….”I love you”
