Christina E. O’Connell

Tina, known to most as Rose’s mom, has left to join her mom, dad, and two brothers. She is at peace and will be forever missed. To all whom she touched or drove crazy which was her specialty, please know that she is happy now. She was ready when Nana came and took her home.
Christina O’Connell, age 70, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. She was born September 17, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Christina Kennedy Baumann.
Christina was a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past 10 years and formally resided in Mount Vernon where she worked as a hair dresser for various beauty salons for many years.
She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as follows: Rose Meyer and her husband Jason and their children; Chris Meyer, Chelan Meyer, Joe Ferris, Brad Ferris, Meagan Rich, Kaleb Ferris, and Rosemary Ferris. Janice Schouten and her children; Crystal Schouten and Ben Joseph. Cathy Kennedy and her children; Christopher and Alexie Gilbert. Pennie Breadmore and her children; Aundi, Tambre, and Kelliegh Coppinger. Denise Whitecotten and her husband Don and their children; Matthew Whitecotten and Mallisa and Jamie Crapoff and their daughters Katrina and Eva. Her sister Rosary Lacerda, her brother George Baumann and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers William Jr. and James Baumann.
A celebration of her life will be announced shortly. The family would also like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley for their special care. Those of you who saw her daily were always spoken highly of. May God bless you for all that you do.
