Claude A. Sitton, 73, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away on Friday, February 9, 2007 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on March 19, 1933 in Caney Forks, North Carolina the son of Bradley and Dessie Parker Sitton.
At age 14, Claude moved to the Skagit Valley with his family and was raised and educated in Hamilton.

He worked for Wilder Construction and Snelson’s until starting his own mill in Sedro-Woolley and retired after 22 years.
Claude was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved going on elk hunting trips to Idaho with his sons, brother-in-law and friends. He loved his pastor and his church family and was a deacon at the Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington. He also loved sitting on his deck that the men from the church built for him.
There are few families with the unity seen in this family. Love Abounded!
