Craig Renner

Craig Renner

Wednesday, January 1st, 2014

Craig Everett Renner, 55, a resident of the Hamilton community, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

Craig was born on September 23, 1958 in Palo Alto, California, to Vernon & Patricia Renner.   He spent his life living in California, Alaska and Washington, calling the Skagit Valley home for the past several years.

Craig enjoyed reading, boat building, music, playing the piano, and the serenity of watching the Skagit River flow past his home. He loved discussing current events and proving himself right most of the time. Craig bravely fought many battles but did not win them all. He was supremely loved until the very end.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Vern & Katherine Renner; three sisters, Melanie Troini, Julie Ingber and Amy Miller and his brother, Brent Renner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Renner.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Lyman Cemetery.

It sounds like Craig had a very happy life. I’m very glad he did. It sounds like he made the most with what he had. That’s all any of us can do. I’ve been praying for him and all my extended family for many years now but never took the next step in rebuilding the relationship we once had. I will always treasure the times we did have together.

What a beautiful eulogy to a beautiful soul. May his struggles be over and peace be with him forever.
