Delores Evelyn Suomela, 79, a resident of Mount Vernon, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on June 11, 1928 in Raymond, Washington, the daughter of Oscar & Laura Westerlund Oman.
Delores was a longtime resident of Ilwaco, WA before coming to Mount Vernon 3 years ago. She enjoyed garden and quilting. She is survived by 2 sons; James Suomela and his wife Julie of Mount Vernon and Kerry Suomela and his wife Taralee of Ilwaco and a daughter; Laurie Kuntz and her husband Rod of Moses Lake. 4 grandchildren and 2 sisters.
At her request, there are to be no services with inurnment at the Ilwaco Cemetery.
