Dennis Warren ‘Denny’ Piercy, age 53, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Island Hospital in Anacortes, WA.
He was born on November 22, 1951 in Arlington, Virginia, the son of Harley and Virginia Rudasill Piercy.
Denny grew up in Virginia and there attended school, and began working in construction after graduating from high school.
He has been a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past 28 years, coming here from Fairfax, VA. Denny worked in commercial construction as a union carpenter with the Carpenters Union, Local 1532.
He was married to Janice Shuler on January 6, 1978 in Mount Vernon, WA. Denny enjoyed the Mariners, woodworking, photography, reading, car shows and rebuilding his 1939 Chevrolet Coupe which was his pride and joy. He was known for his leadership qualities, when people needed an answer or help; Denny was the man they turned to. Above all else, the most important thing in Denny’s life was his family.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Janice of the family home in Sedro-Woolley. His children, Selina Dziura and her husband, Derek of Burlington, Rob Piercy and his wife, Kim of Phoenix, AZ and Ashley Piercy and his fianc
