Don LeRoy Lade, age 89, of Sedro-Woolley, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born June 15, 1926 in Lynden, Washington to Ira and Lydia (VanValkenberg) Lade.

Don served in the US Navy during WW II, and was a member of the Lynden Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Don and Beverly were married June 9, 1979 in Bellingham. He worked as a carpenter most of his life, and he enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling.

Don is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Karen Marshall and her husband, John of Roseburg, Oregon, Lorie Marcus, of Bellingham and Timothy Lade and his wife, Karyn of Ferndale; brother, Richard Lade, of Missouri; three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Sarah Myrtle Belcher on June 6, 1976, the mother of their three children, Friends are invited to join the family in a potluck at 3:00pm, Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Lake Padden Park, Bellingham (South Entrance.)
