I am blessed to have had Gigi as my Grandmother and best friend. I have thousands of wonderful memories of time shared with her: going to church, long conversations, playing games, shopping, going to lunch, traveling, the fishy song, and even doing summersaults. Every memory I have of her is filled with love and laughter. Gigi had unwavering faith and taught me the power of prayer. She had a great sense of humor, a calming presence and found happiness in her family. She listened without judging and made me feel good about myself. Gigi was a huge influence and light in my life and I will carry her with me for the rest of my days. I hope that someday I can be half the wonderful grandmother to someone that Gigi was to me.
