Dorothy Lorraine Cinnamon, age 86, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. She was born September 1, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Lorraine Walker Dowdell.
Dorothy was married to Floyd Cinnamon on July 23, 1943 at Fort Stockton, Texas and during Floyd’s U.S. Air Force career she resided and was stationed with Floyd in many places. Upon his retirement, they resided in Everett for 19 years until moving to Sedro-Woolley 25 years ago. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crafts, gardening, flowers, but she will be remembered as an outdoors person who enjoyed fishing and motorcycle riding.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Floyd and Renee Cinnamon of Arlington, WA and numerous cousins. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Floyd in 1985.
At her request, there are to be no services with inurnment at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
