Ervin Sutton, 74, passed away on Monday Sept 24, 2007 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. He had Pneumonia and a stroke. Ervin was born on May 9, 1933, in Willeta, N.C., the son of Robert and Icicie Queen Sutton. He was raised and attended grade school in Hamilton, and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School. He was a Korean War Veteran.
He was a member of the American Legion and life time member of the Burlington United Lodge #93 F&AM. Ervin was united in marriage to Dee-Deloras Sanders on April 14, 1961 in Burlington, WA. He was a timber faller in both Washington and Alaska until he retired. What Ervin enjoyed most was reading, T.V. and guns of any make or model.
He is survived by his wife Dee of Pumpkin Center; 2 daughters; Patty Scruggs of CA and Lori Love of Tennessee; 2 steps sons, Kenneth Murphy and his wife Gail and Keith Murphy all of Lenoir, NC.; 2 granddaughters, Tishinea Sutton of Seattle and Sophie Sutton of Ketchikan, AK.; 2 grandsons, Eli Sutton of Lyman and Jermie Love of Tennessee; 3 sisters; Betty Macarthur and her husband Harry of Portland, OR., Joan Blanton and her husband Earl of Pumpkin Center and Peggy Brown of Burlington; 2 Brothers; Max Sutton and wife Alice of Montana and Don Sutton and wife Delilah of Pumpkin Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rob and Icie Sutton; an infant sister, Eulia; a brother Dan Sutton and 2 sons, Rocky and Mike Sutton.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 11:00
at the Hamilton Cemetery, with Mr. Phil Mitchell officiating. A fellowship will follow the service at the Hamilton Baptist Church.
