Eunice G.H. Weaver, 93, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed on Friday April 13, 2007 at the Cross Creek Adult Family Home in Sedro-Woolley.
She was the eldest of Albert N. and Emma Johnson Small born at Hinton, Iowa on February 28, 1914.
When she was 2 her family moved to Isabelle, South Dakota and homesteaded for a number of years. By the early 1930’s the family had increased to eight and had relocated to Sioux City, Iowa. In 1933 she was united in marriage to Flores W. Weaver and a year later their first son, Don was born. In 1941 the new family moved to Burlington, then to Bellingham where their second son, Ron was born in 1942.
Eunice and her husband remained in Bellingham until 1970, at which time, Mr. Weaver retired from the Bellingham Fire Department, then they returned to the Burlington Sedro-Woolley area where they remained for the rest of their lives.
Eunice enjoyed gardening, scrap booking, baking, quilting and especially family gatherings.
She is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother, Evelyn Klameth and Bonnie Vancleeve and Robert Small, and her 2 sons, Don Weaver and his wife, Marilyn and Ron Weaver and his wife, Terri all of Sedro-Woolley. 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Marie Stobbe and Verta Rogers; 2 brothers, Ivan and Orville Small and her husband Flores ‘Bill’ Weaver in 1987.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Greenhills Memorial Cemetery in Burlington with Bishop Melvin Call of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Visitation available at Lemley Chapel on Monday until 5 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm.
A fellowship luncheon will follow services in the cultural hall of the LDS church, 1122 McGarigle Road in Sedro-Woolley.
