Gabriel Esteban Ruiz, age 2 months 9 days, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2008 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was born September 5, 2008 in Mount Vernon, Washington to Steven Ruiz and Amy Jo Rock.
Gabriel is survived by his parents; Steven Ruiz and Amy Jo Rock of Mount Vernon. 2 brothers; David Rock of Sedro-Woolley and Alija Rock of Mount Vernon and a sister; Franchesca Ruiz of Mount Vernon. His grandparents; Marilyn Rock of Sedro-Woolley, Gabriel Ruiz of Mount Vernon, and Maria Ruiz of Mount Vernon. 3 aunts; Paula Rock of Sedro-Woolley, Suanna Luna of Sedro-Woolley, and Marisa Alaniz of Texas. Steven Ruiz’s godparents; Presciliano and Marcella Martinez of Burlington. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial Prayer Services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 7:00 PM with a dinner beginning at 5:00 PM at the Upper Skagit Tribal Gymnasium with a Funeral Service to follow on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Upper Skagit Tribal Gymnasium with interment to follow at the Hamilton Indian Cemetery. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
Daddy loves you mijo!!! you are gone but will never be forgotten. I love and miss you so much. I wish it was me mijo..you were supposed to bury me not me bury you.. I would give anything to trade places with you. I just don’t understand why God chose to take you so soon.I can’t be mad about it but i just don’t understand your brothers and sister are so big and they also remember you.please watch over them and keep them safe
