Gary Mix Wilbur, age 61, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Skagit Valley Hospital, Mount Vernon, Washington.  He was born February 9, 1956 in Shelton, WA, to Harold and Elsie (Williams) Wilbur.  He grew up in Shelton, but was a Skagit Valley resident for the past 30 years.  Gary loved to fish and hunt throughout the Skagit Valley, and he enjoyed playing baseball with the Upper Skagit Eagles.

Gary is survived by his children, Valerie Wilbur, Joseph Wilbur, Nolan Denunzio, Steven Jones, Jr., Lorina Jones and Alesha Charles Hatch; numerous grandchildren; brother, Richard Baker; sister, Linn Tinaza; aunts, Tina King George and Geraldine Williams; beloved soul mate, Audrey Charles; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Gary Lee Wilbur and Joshua Wilbur; brother, Rick Wilbur; sisters, Joanne Kenyon and Angie Baker.

A time of visitation will take place at 2:00, Monday, June 26, 2017, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley; Prayer Service at 7:00, Monday, at the Upper Skagit Gymnasium; Funeral at 10:00, Tuesday, June 27, at the Gymnasium followed by Graveside Committal at the Hamilton Indian Cemetery.  Share your memories of Gary and sign the online guest register.
