Glorian Leigh Bonnette

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

On Sunday, July 1, 2007 the Lord called our precious mother home.
Rev. Glorian Leigh Bonnette was born on March 10, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was the first born of three children to Mellie ‘Verlin’ and Dwight Cobb. When Glorian was seven, her mother moved the children to Tacoma, Washington, where her mother met and married Eino Hill. The family moved to Newhalem, Washington when Glorian was 13 years old, where her father, Eino worked at the Power House. After graduating from Concrete High School, Glorian was blessed with three children she loved very dearly. Glorian loved the theater and the opera. Glorian started various businesses and belonged to many organizations. She was an active member of her community, always volunteering her time to help those in need. She started the first Safe House in Skagit County. In her later years, she wrote and published three books.

In 1982 Glorian’s direction in life changed dramatically after committing her life to her Lord and Savoir. Glo’s faith and trust in God was one hundred percent, taking Him very seriously and doing exactly what she felt Him telling her to do. She loved the mystery, and she loved watching God’s work unfold in front of her eyes. In the late 80’s, Glorian began to take "prayer teams" around the nation. By the 90’s, she was taking prayer teams around the world. That was only the beginning of an international ministry that has continued. She has touched lives on almost every continent on the globe. God’s anointing on her life was a very special one. She left a large and unique footprint everywhere she went and will not be forgotten.

Glorian’s mother preceded her in death and is she survived by her father, Eino Hill; sister, Sherry Bebee; brothers, Melvin Hill and Mike Hill; 2 son, Rusty Regan and wife, Kelly and Kory Bonnette and wife, Shannon and daughter, Holly Bonnette. Seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and multiple brothers, and sisters in the Lord she considered like family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Center, 2727 E. College Way in Mount Vernon with Brian Harrison and Michael Delerenzo officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memorial Cemetery in Burlington. A Fellowship will follow the services at Christian Life Center. Closed casket visitation will be available at Lemley Chapel in Sedro Woolley on July 6, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
