    Harold James “Hal” McIntyre, 63, a former Sedro-Woolley resident and longtime King County resident, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 in Puyallup, Washington.

    Hal was born on April 7, 1950 in Sedro-Woolley, the son of David Gillespie and Jean Frances (Robertson) McIntyre.   He was raised and attended school in Sedro-Woolley, Vancouver, B.C. and Orcas Island.

    Hal worked for a while at Skagit Corporation in Sedro-Woolley and on the family farm near Big Lake, but mostly spent his adult life living in Pierce and King County.

    Hal is survived by his brother, David McIntyre of Seattle; two sisters, Linda Dowe of Mount Vernon and Lisa McIntyre of Idaho; two nephews, Matthew Garst and William Dowe and two nieces, Melanie Garst and Jessica Gillespie

    A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley.  Private inurnment will be at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
