Evans, Jake Wrestling cropEvans, Jake

Jacob C. “Jake” Evans, 32, a lifelong resident of Concrete and Sedro-Woolley passed away on Friday, July 15 2016 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle WA.

Jacob was born on July 2 1984 in Sedro-Woolley the son of Jack Eugene Evans and Nancy Jean Past.

July 2nd wasn’t your ordinary day to be born. You see, it was also both Jack and Nancy’s birthday. He was their birthday present. They were with him the day he entered this world and they were with him the day he left us.  Twenty-five years later on that very same day, Jacob welcomed his first nephew, Ethan into this world.

Jacob started his adventures young in life if he didn’t have a gun in his hand hunting or a pole for fishing you could find him in a mat room training, or preparing for a match.

After he finished his time at SWHS he went on to become a journeyman electrician. Jacob did his best to be a loving son, a caring brother, and a heartfelt father.

Jacob is survived by his son, Mason Lee Morgan-Evans, whom he loved with all that he was; his daughter, Madison Lynn Evans, who was removed from his life but never lost her place in his heart; father, Jack Evans; mother, Nancy Past; sisters, Jamie Whitlock, Kelie Evans;  sister-in-law,  Dana Smith; brother, Johnny Evans (Aimee Adkinson); a special friend Kellie “Buddy” Hamilton; his Gram, Ester LaVelle Evans; uncle Joe and aunt LaVelle Cunningham; aunt, Laura Evans, aunt Judi Evans; uncle, Lee Evans, uncle Jim and aunt Vicky Past, uncle Rod and Aunt Kathy Janz, Aunt Terry Past, Aunt Mary Jane and Uncle John and Desirae Past.

Jacob was fortunate enough to come from a very large family, he was surrounded his whole life by many, many cousins who loved him dearly and have many memories that they will hold dear for years to come. Jacob also had many special friends throughout his life, who he loved to spend time with, fishing, hunting or just causing quite a riot on a hill or back road from the valley and beyond. His family knows that there are many, but know that he will always have a special place in the hearts of his friends, Johnny Wicker and Seth Scollard.
Jacob was preceded in death by his cousin and friend,  Landon Joesph Foster; his uncle Kenneth Eaves;  aunt, Joyce Lynn Adam; grandfather, Jack Evans;  grandmother, Rita Past.

Jacob will be missed by all of us, and will live on forever in our hearts and the memories we will hold so dear. The family would like to thank the community for coming together in our time of need and supporting us in so many ways. Jack would like to send a special thank you to Frank and Teresa Boots for the continued support during this difficult time.  Any further donations are asked to be directed to the local Steele Claw Wrestling Club in Jacob’s name.

A Celebration of Jacob’s life will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.  Share your memories of Jacob and sign the online guest register.

I’m sorry for the loss of your dear loved one, Jacob, and may you find encouragement from the God of all comfort, Jehovah, thru his word the holy bible in Psalms 34:18: Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. God’s word also says in Isaiah 25:8: He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…For Jehovah himself has spoken it.(Psalms 83:18; Titus !:2) Revelation 21:1-5; / John 5:28,29; John 11:25,26. This is what God’s Kingdom, under Jesus Christ rulership, will accomplish in the very near future for all those who love righteousness. The true God promises in his word in Psalms 37:11,29:..The meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. 29: The righteous will posses the earth, And they will live forever on it.(New World Translation Of The Holy Scriptures) jw.org
