James Leroy Evans, age 77, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born April 14, 1940 to Howard and Loretta (Cope) Evans in Sedro-Woolley.
Dad enjoyed spending time outdoors, logging and hunting with Dan Tovrea. He was active in IBEW local 191 as an electrician, and was a member of the Masons.
James is survived by his children, Lorie Fisher (Steve) of Bothell, James Evans, Jr. (Shelly) of Bellevue, Judy Aaby (Darin) of Woodinville, and Dan Evans (Bonnie) of Concrete; grandchildren, Tabitha (Jeffrey), Phillip, Ariel (Jon), Zachary, Thomas, Jonathan, David, Lacie, and Andreanna; great-grandchildren, Evan, Fisher and Gabriella; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally in May, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 29, 2017, at Hamilton Cemetery with Military Honors.
Jim and Sally, you found eternal life! Forever in our hearts! Thanks for the wonderful memories. Our families shared so much! I am grateful for our time spent together Judi and Lorie!
