James R. ‘Rick’ Perry, 69, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
Rick was born in Montana on June 14, 1947, the
son of Richard & Irene Perry. Rick was raised and attended school in the Kirkland area.
In 1965 Rick enlisted into the U.S. Navy where he served his country for 4 years.
He worked as parcel deliveryman delivering packages for Aeronautical Services from Anacortes and to Guemes Island. Rick was also a professional musician, serving as the drummer for several bands around the area.
Rick is survived by his wife, Carol at the family home in Sedro-Woolley; his son James Perry in Montana; step-son, Tom Hooper of Sedro-Woolley; brothers, David Perry and Joe McGuire and sister, Lisa McGuire.
A gathering will be held at 1:00, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Cascade Pizza, Sedro-Woolley.
