John Ed Allen, Jr. 44, a resident of the Concrete community, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
He was born in West Point, Mississippi on February 25, 1963 to John and Julie Witt Allen. Johnny was raised in Clear Lake, where his parents owned and operated the Clear Lake resort for many years. He loved to swim, fish, hunt, ride his motorcycle and pick fights.
He went through the Sedro-Woolley School District and he graduated high school in 1981. That same year he enlisted in the army and married his girlfriend, Jeanna Walker while stationed in Germany. They had two children. They later divorced, married again, and divorced.
He was a diesel mechanic by trade and loved to fix almost anything.
Johnny is survived by his two children, James and Stephanie Allen. His mother, Julie Allen, his best friend and companion, Cindy Allen. His sister and brother-in-law, Dan and Debbie Fox. Nieces and nephews, Katie and Todd Kimball, Kimberly and Jason Selders and Joseph Fox, also a great-niece, Hailey.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Allen and father, John Allen.
Johnny was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Clear Lake Community Covenant Church with Pastor Tim Hedberg officiating. His ashes will be placed next to his father and sister at the Clear Lake Cemetery.
