Karey Anthony “Kirt” Stidman, age 71, of Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017.
He was born in Yuba City, California, July 17, 1945 to Winfred “Wink” and Theresa (DeLozier) Stidman.
Kirt grew up in Colusa, California, but moved to the Pacific Northwest after graduating high school. He lived 10 years in Portland, Oregon before moving to Washington State. After residing in Marysville, WA for approximately 3 years, he and his family moved to Sedro-Woolley and then Rockport, residing in this area about 11 years. In 2005, Kirt and his wife, Deborah moved to Bloomfield, New Mexico.
Kirt worked as a salesman, selling and delivering parts for local semi-truck companies for many years. He was a born salesman, who loved people and always enjoyed sharing and talking to them. He loved life and maintained a positive, upbeat attitude.
He loved his family and was quite sociable. In his early adult years, he enjoyed drag racing and owned his own race car. Kirt was a gun collector and always dreamed of hunting and traveling and loved to drive from state to state with his wife, Deborah.
Kirt is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Stidman of Bloomfield, NM; children, Penny (Stidman) Patin, of Louisiana and Carey Jean (Stidman) cerazette – rezept & pille online | ohnerezeptfreikauf Speck, of Orland, CA; grandchildren, William Stidman of Anchorage, AK, Dilyn Stidman of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Emily Stidman of Bellingham, WA and Chloe Stidman of Concrete, WA, David Dean of Oroville, CA, Jimmy Dean of Oroville, CA, David Speck, Chelsie of Colusa, CA, Kyle Speck, Dylan Speck; his daughter-in-law, Tobi Stidman of Concrete, WA; siblings, Winnie (Stidman) Floyd, of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Nancy Stidman of Sherwood, OR; sister-in-law Dell (Bosse) Hunter and brother-in-law Craig Hunter of Bloomfield, NM; nephews, Anthony Floyd, of Mount Vernon, WA and Matthew Stidman of Portland, Oregon and Josh Bosse of Texas; nieces Jennifer (Hunter) Filonowich, of Colorado Springs, CO, Heather Hunter, of Highlands Ranch, CO, Carly Bosse of Edmonds, WA, Lindy (Bosse) Hurless of Stanwood, WA, Lavonne (Stidman) Rualo, of Bellflower, CA, and Laurie (Stidman) Beltz, of Chino Hills, CA. He was also close to great-nephews, Hunter Filonowich, of Socorro, NM and Hudson Filonowich, of Colorado Springs, CO; and great-niece Whitney Vizgaudis of Denver, CO.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, his son, Temothy Joel Stidman; his brother Chester David Stidman; and his brother-in-law Herman “Jody” Bosse.
A Celebration of Life/Memorial will be held at Lemley Chapel at 1008 3rd Street in Sedro-Woolley, WA, on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 3:00 p.m.
