Karl J. Papendorf, 59, husband of Margaret A. Papendorf Meg lost his life to cancer on Friday July 7, 2006.
He was proud to be the father of 2 sons, Timothy J. Papendorf and Benjamin H. Papendorf. Karl’s daughter’s-in-law, Carrie A. Papendorf Tim and Lacey M. Papendorf Benj. had a special place in Karl’s heart. His children were the most important part of Karl’s life.
Karl worked for Overhead Door of Everett for 22 years and was a garage door man all his life. Karl was in the Army during the Vietnam War and was proud to serve his country. Karl overcame many obstacles in his life. He was a quiet, loving man and a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Meg and Karl celebrated 27 years of marriage on June 16, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Angeline and Walter Papendorf, Sr. of Melrose Park, Illinois.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Wally Papendorf and his wife Pat and their 2 children and John Papendorf and his wife Judy and their 3 children.
