Leilani Marie Morrison, 63, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Leilani was born on May 1, 1953 to Frank and Loretta Waidelich in Sedro- Woolley, Washington. She was married to Dave Morrison who preceded her in death on Sunday, March 23, 2008.
She was a graduate of Sedro-Woolly High School and was voted Logger Rodeo Queen her senior year. She took an enormous pride in being a mother to four children and a grandmother to fourteen grandchildren. She was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and always placed her faith in God to the very end. She was also very active in many quilting, doll, and crafting groups and clubs over the years.
Leilani is survived by her father, Frank Waidelich; brothers, Martin and Mark Waidelich; sister, Carmen Osterhout; sons, Nick (Carley) and Nathan (Amy) Martin; daughters, Pauline (Brett) Johnson and Emily (Chris) Sears, and her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored each of them, Ariana, Madeline, North, Elijah, Jasper, Aiden, Isaac, Conner, Colton, Sharayah, Sophia, Jacob, Asher, and Oliver. She was preceded in death most notably by her loving husband, David, and her mother, Loretta Waidelich.
She will be missed dearly by so many for her giving nature, her nurturing smile, and her unconditional love. She touched many lives.
There will be a memorial to celebrate her life on November 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

    We were classmates at SWHS-1971. Its been over 45 yrs. but I never forgot about her. Her spirit now soars high above the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, with the clouds and eagles !
