LINDI LEE LAABS MICHAELS, 36, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday November 3, 2005.
She was born on June 16, 1969 in Edmonds, Washington, the daughter of Michael & Helene GeRoy Laabs.
Lindi was raised in Lynnwood, Washington and where she attained her education. She graduated from Lynnwood High School with the class of 1987 and was very active in high school softball and activities. She then attended Business College where she was on the Dean’s List for academics. She worked for a time for the Snohomish County Sheriffs office until joining her family’s construction equipment rental and sales business, working as a bookkeeper.
Lindi was a loving, generous and caring person, always willing to help and give of her time. She was also active with her children in their school and sporting events. She enjoyed traveling and the warm climate of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
Lindi is survived by her 2 daughters, Kirsten & Kristi Michaels of Lake Stevens; her parents, Michael & Helene Laabs of Sedro-Woolley and her brother, Michael Laabs, Jr. in Indiana. 2 great-aunts, Niki LaFleur of Sedro-Woolley and Elva Shodo of Denver, CO and 2 aunts, Darlene Vick of Seattle and Annette Farrow of Mukilteo. Close and special friends, Hollie Day, Candice McLaughlin and Teri Nelson, and many other family members and friends.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday November 12, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Shirley Bertholf of Northern Peaks Christian Fellowship officiating. Casual attire is requested.
Private inurnment will be at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
Cremation and services under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
