Lois Elaine Oliver passed away at her home in Mount Vernon on Friday, September 5, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, after losing a courageous and dignified battle to ALS. Lou Gehrigs Disease.
Lois was born on December 13, 1938 in Yuma, Colorado to Leta and Gerald Murrow.
Lois worked many years as a dental assistant and later retired as a baker. She was often seen out walking or riding her bike all throughout Skagit County.
She was proceeded in death by her sister, Lanora Lee; her brother, Ronald and her father, Gerald Murrow, who also lost a battle to ALS.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of fifty three years, Edwin E Oliver; their two daughters, Sheila Mitchell and family and Brenda Grahn and family; her mother, Leta Murrow; her two sisters, Garnet Brandstrom and Carol Hensen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at the Sedro-Woolley Cemetery on September 8, 2008. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
