    Mae Belle (Pray) Raper, 81, a resident of Bellingham, passed away on June 12, 2015.

  
  She was born on October 11, 1933 in Everett, the daughter of Earl & Edith (Olmstead) Harkness.  She made her home in Whatcom county and graduated from Mount Baker High School with the class of 1952.    Mae worked as an in home health care provider for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, George Raper of Bellingham; her siblings, Bea Beltz of Arlington, WA, Betty Fitzgerald of Sedro-Woolley, WA and Joe Harkness of Everson, WA; her children, Kathleen Wiebke of Bellingham, WA, Michael Hallworth of Cumming, GA, Misty Harkness of Acme, WA, and James Pray of Bellingham, WA; seven grandchildren, Windy Wiebke, Michael and Lucas Hallworth, Kris Rich, Nichole Krogh, and Devin and Calvin Pray; two great-grandchildren, Jasmynn and Megan Schneider; one great-great-grandson, Dakota Schneider and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Lemley Funeral Chapel in Sedro-Woolley on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 am. A fellowship gathering will follow the service at 5184 Turkington Rd, Acme WA 98220.
