Margaret M. Jackson, 74, a resident of Burlington, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. She was born on March 6, 1933 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Milford and Grace Riddle Jackson.
Margaret was a longtime resident of Mount Vernon and Burlington. She volunteered for many organizations including the Girl Scouts, Red Cross, and Skagit Valley Hospital.
Margaret enjoyed music, especially jazz and blue grass; reading, camping, and caring for her cats. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sedro-Woolley.
Margaret is survived by her cousins, Jan Turton and her husband, Rick and family of Auburn, CA, Russell Riddle and his wife, Clara and family of Camano Island, Gene Riddle and his wife, Kyong and family and Michael Paul and his wife, Shirley and family of Southern California. Her adopted family, Aya and Dave Martin and their children, Sheynia and Taryn of Conway. Her longtime friends, Karen and Gary Aven and family of Bellingham; her longtime friends at Trinity United Presbyterian Church and her loving cat, Bobbi.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Wendy Tingley officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
