Mia Cannon, infant daughter of Pastor Jim & Terri Cannon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on July 29, 2006 in Liberia, West Africa and joined the Cannon family in October of 2007.
She was a joy during her brief life, and a testimony of God’s care for even the smallest life.
Mia is survived by her parents, Jim & Terri and brother and sister, Samuel & Jessica Cannon at the family home in Sedro-Woolley. A brother, Ben Cannon and his wife, Kathy of Sacramento, CA and sisters, Stephanie Cannon of Salem, OR and Andrea Ross and her husband, Jason of Gresham, OR. Grandmothers, June Cannon and Beverly Hagan, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also much loved by her church family at Bethel Assembly of God. Memorials are suggested to the Special Needs Unit of Acres of Hope – Liberia, 29525 Four Corners Store Road, Mason, WI 54856.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Tony Cloud officiating. Interment will follow at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
