Milton Eugene Fleurichamp, 86, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
Milton was born on January 30, 1922 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Eugene & Rose Fleurichamp. He was raised and attended school in Hawthorne, California.
During WW II Milton served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Milton was united in marriage to Patricia Hawley in 1950 and they made their home in Hawthorne, California where Milton owned and operated a very successful service station, Milt’s Union 76. After his retirement in 1980 he and Patricia moved to Sedro-Woolley, and he was active in the Sedro-Woolley Senior Center.
Milton was very athletic and loved sports, he enjoyed bowling and golf and for a while was a pro baseball player, playing triple A baseball with the Cincinnati Reds and for many years was a little league baseball coach. He was also a faithful L.A. Dodgers fan and a season ticket holder while living in California.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 314 and the V.F.W. in Hawthorne, CA.
Milton is survived by his wife, Patricia of Sedro-Woolley. His son and daughter-in-law, Jon & Dena Fleurichamp of Sedro-Woolley. 2 step-children, Mike Anderson and his wife, Julie of Sedro-Woolley and Linda Keenan and her husband, Michael of Tehachapi, California. Also 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clyde Jolley.
Memorials in memory of Milton are suggested to the Sedro-Woolley Senior Center.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
