i can’t believe your gone. I have so many wonderful memories of our school years. You taught me to tap dance in second and third grade and then we went on to be cheerleaders, and song leaders in high school. We had so much fun together. I loved you so much. I won’t ever forget you.

My darling Jo, Oh how I will miss you. You were one of God’s best. He sent you to me years ago as we grew up together through Camp Fire Girls, Methodist Youth Group, Song Leaders at Grade School and Roller Skating. What a time we had. Then after we graduated you got married, I moved to away and got married I gave birth to a son on your birthday. That I thought was special. After two many years I returned home and finally was able to keep track of you again. Then I could see that your mother’s disease had taken hold on you and you were in a lot of pain. I prayed that this would cease for you dear one and now it has. I was so happy that several of us classmates were able to celebrate June birthday’s together and you were able to join us. That is the last picture I have of you and I will treasure it. I to will be joining you soon, but until then you were the my very good friend and I loved you very much.

Where do I even begin….You were one of those people that I can’t imagine how my life would have been if you weren’t in it. I couldn’t have asked for a better 2nd Mom. Although, we didn’t see much of each other these past few years (other then at funerals) I always felt so close to you. You and Jim were always there for me and I have always appreciated you both, more then words could say.

My heart goes out to the whole family.
    All my love….

Auntie Jo, You are one of those amazing and special people that has touched so many lives. Everyone loves you because you had this kind, excepting, loving, non-judgmental way about you. Anyone and everyone of the people that I ever brought around you… Loved Auntie Jo! You always had a smile and a warm hug to greet many.

I can’t even begin to imagine Day Creek without you. It will never be the same.

When I was young, I loved staying the night at your house and I loved staying up at the cabin with you. Sitting around the fire listening to all the stories. Then as I got older, I still loved sitting and listening to the stories but loved enjoying our glasses of wine together.

Your struggle has been long and hard. You fought all the way through with such strength and determination. One of the things that I will always remember that you said to me, is that “Family is always there for you and you should lean on them when you need to.”

I love you and will miss every moment that I don’t see your smiling face.

    Jo Jo,
I have so many wonderful memories of my childhood, with you in them! You were like a second Mom to me, growing up. One of the sweetest women I have had the pleasure of knowing. We sure did live life to the fullest back in the days, traveling all over the country side. Words cannot descried how my heart breaks for your family, knowing how much they will miss you! You were an Angel on this earth and now above us. RIP Jo Jo.
From all of us Weatherby’s, we love you!

Hi mom, these past couple days have been the saddest I have ever endured. I remember you being with me when I was in ICU 30 years ago, tending to me and watching as I struggled and I’m so glad I was at your side in ICU during your last couple days. We never leave each other do we? You’ll always be in my heart. Thanks for loving me, being a great mom, and giving me the best sister/friend I could share this journey with. You have always been there for me and helped in every way with Sean, Jay & Steven. Our memories will carry us through, although difficult. You are my sunshine and I love you!
