Opal V. Bohnsack, age 85, a former longtime resident of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, WA.
She was born March 20, 1920 in Breckinridge, Minnesota.
Opal was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran serving during WWII. After the war, she resided in California for many years.
She was married to Norman Bohnsack in Mount Vernon, WA in 1964 and they made their home in Coupeville, WA for a year before moving to Anchorage, AK. They resided there for 40 years where she owned and operated the O Vio Knit Shop. In September of this year, she and her husband Norman moved to Sedro-Woolley, WA.
She is survived by her husband, Norman and 2 daughters, Donna Pulver and her husband Michael of Sedro-Woolley and Junelle Foxworth of Anchorage.
12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Inurnment Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Coupeville Cemetery, Coupeville, WA. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.
