Pauline O. Green, age 88, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at Skagit Valley Hospital.  She was born May 14, 1927 to John “Wes” and Evelyn (McDonald) Porter in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Pauline was employed as the credit manager at Weisfield Jewelry in Mount Vernon, Puget Sound Scaling Bureau in Ketchikan and the Little Store Food Pavilion in Mount Vernon.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, a 50+ year member of the Cyrene Chapter #110 and #50 in Mount Vernon.  Pauline was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Sedro-Woolley.  She received several awards for her involvement in Alaska Women in Timber.  Pauline represented the Alaska Timber Industry in speaking before the U. S. Senate Representatives in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Pauline is survived by her son, John “Bill” (Debra) Green, of Ketchikan, AK; daughters, Pam (Wayne) Hayes, of Longview, WA, Linda Eastman, of Mount Vernon, WA; foster daughter, Gwen (Robert) Feasel, of Seattle, WA; sister, Barbara Long, of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Derek Green, Melanie Pattie, Tyler Green, Lisa Mast, Brady Mast, Cassidy Mast, Grayson Mast, Cheri McCall, Larry Hayes, Robert Hayes, Michelle Whitright, Jerry Hayes, Tyson Hayes, Julio Hayes, Shelly Sanford, Tracy Waite, Erika Davis and Carissa Bliven and numerous great grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Evelyn Porter; husband, John Green; daughter, Beth Stephenson; grandson, John Paul Green and brother, James Porter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00, Friday, July 10, 2015, at the Sedro-Woolley Masonic Lodge.  Pauline’s final resting place will be Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley.
