Pearl C. Self, age 94, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006 at Where The Heart Is Assisted Living in Burlington, WA.
She was born December 8, 1912 in Del Rio, TN, the son of Henry and Martha Clemons Crowder.
Pearl grew up in Tennessee and was married to Clayton Self on September 25, 1935 in Cocke County and in 1941 they moved to Lyman. She enjoyed embroidery, needle point, quilting, and prior to Clayton’s passing they were very active at the senior center.
Pearl is survived by her 2 sons, Richard Self and his wife JoAnne of Sedro-Woolley and William Self and his wife Sharon of Winlock. 6 grandchildren, James Self and his wife Kim, Joseph Self, Sandra Oatman and her husband Tom, Cheryl Goldman and her husband Grant, Lori Morrison and her husband Spencer, and Jana Ott and her husband Jon. 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Lyman Cemetery with Pastor Jon Skiffington of LaConner officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Lyman Cemetery Fund. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
