Richard Alexander Lawson, age 66, of Hamilton, passed away September 8, 2016. He was born March 15, 1950, in Stamford, Connecticut, to Adam and Olive (Thompson) Lawson.
Rich served in the United States Marine Corps, and later
in the Navy as an Air Traffic Controller at Ault Field, Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. He met Sheryl Aldridge, also stationed at Whidbey Island, and married in August of 1987 in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl and granddaughters, Ashley and Jasmine Horton.

Sherry, I knew Rich through the financial company I work for. I so enjoyed talking to him, he had a great sense of humor and always made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss I know he will be greatly missed.

Sherry, Ashley, Jasmine, and your entire family–are hearts are grieving at your loss. Rich was a good husband, father, and grandpa and he will forever be remembered with love.
