SANDRA LYNN HOWLEY, 49, a resident of Marblemount passed away at her home on Tuesday October 4, 2005.
She was born on May 23, 1956 in Richland, Washington, the daughter of John and Barbara Reynard Breedlove.
She was raised and attended school in La Grande, Oregon. After graduating from high school in La Grande in 1974 she attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where she graduated with a degree in Nursing in 1978.
In 1980 she moved to Seattle, WA where she worked in local hospitals and clinics for several years until her own health required her to retire.
On April 17, 1992 she was united in marriage to Paul Howley in Smokey Point, WA and together they made their home in Marblemount.
For the past 10 years Paul & Sandra have been very active in Foster Parenting and over the years have been Mom & Dad to many children.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Paul and sons, Robert & John Howley at the family home in Marblemount; 2 step-sons, Randy Howley & wife, Tammy and Tim Howley and wife, Patty all of Everett. Her sister, Gayla Breedlove and her husband, Jerry Short of Portland, Oregon. 1 great-granddaughter, Addison Howley; 2 nieces, Talia Hill and Megan Falconer and numerous foster children. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sandra’s family request that memorials be made to the Howley Kid’s Fund c/o Secret Harbor Community Support Programs, PO Box 440, Anacortes, WA 98221.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday October 8, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Secret Harbor Community Support Programs Facility formerly Foster Care Resources, 225 North Walnut Street in Burlington.
