Mayville, ShirleyS. Jerlene Mayville, 76, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away at Life Care Center on Monday, July 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She was born on February 16, 1938 in Caney Forks, North Carolina, the daughter of John Watson and Desi Sitton.

On December 22, 1958 Jerlene married Neil Mayville in Coeur D Alene, ID. Later they moved to Sedro-Woolley and started their family. She was very busy at home with her children and was known for being a mother to many. She also was a member of the Valley Baptist Church.

Jerlene is survived by her sons, Neil Mayville, Jr. and Terry Mayville, both of Sedro-Woolley, and Bill Mayville (Denise) of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Mark (Felicia), Miranda, Rebecca, Christopher, Andrew, Amanda, Alisha and Kendra; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jordon, Derick, and Abby; sister, Carolyn Mayville; sisters-in-law, Alice Sitton and Ethel Crapson; brother-in-law, Jon Shennett; former daughter-in-law and close friend, Janet Brown; special nephew, Jon Earl Shennett and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Neil Mayville, Sr.; daughter, Sherry Wiggens; granddaughter, Julie Mayville and her siblings, Ira, Lester and Claude Sitton, Geneva Bryson, Gertie Gilland, Bonnie Gilland, Irene Sutton and Betty “Frankie”
Shennett. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Mathey and Dr. Defrang and all the staff at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Lemley Chapel, followed by a Graveside Committal Service at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.

You were very generous to let us stay with you in 2011, My mom (robin mayville) and myself were so grateful for your hospitatlity. My thoughts and prayers are with all our family at this time.
