Steve Waldrop, 49, a resident of Day Creek, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
Steve was born in Mount Vernon, WA on June 20, 1959, the son of Arnold & Bernice Proctor Waldrop. The family shortly after moved to Thorn Bay, Alaska and over the years Steve was raised and attended school in Thorn Bay and the Big Lake, WA areas. He has been a longtime member of the Sedro-Woolley Eagles.
Steve is survived by his mother, Bernice Waldrop of Day Creek; his two sisters, Elane Lindquist of Mount Vernon and Carolyn Hornbeck of Day Creek and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold and two brothers, Greg & Bill Waldrop.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 2:30 PM at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery with Pastor Rick Miles of the Day Creek Chapel officiating.
