Steven James King, age 52, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 near Hamilton, Washington as the result of a logging truck accident.
He was born April 17, 1956 in California to John and Betty Mather King. Steven was a resident of Mount Vernon for the past 3 years and formally resided in Sedro-Woolley for many years. He was married to Tina Sutra on April 23, 2005 in Lyman, Washington. Steven worked as a log truck driver for Hornbeck Logging Co and formally worked for Dills Creek Logging Co. Steven was a member of Crossroads Covenants Church in Burlington and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Steven is survived by his wife Tina King of the family home in Mount Vernon. 3 children; Tara King of Escondido, CA and Alex Suta King and Kyra Suta King of the family home. 3 brothers; Clifford O. King of Kettle Falls, WA, John L. King and his wife Judy of New Mexico, David A. King and his wife Diane of Kelso and a sister; Ruth Hutchinson and her husband Ron of Kelso. Numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Crossroads Covenants Church 351 Pease Rd Burlington with Pastor Bruce Shellhammer officiating. A reception will follow the services at the church.
