William “Bill” Deamud passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 of Alzheimer disease.  He was born September 19, 1933 in Michigan, but lived most of his life in Florida, then moving to San Diego and later to Washington State.  He lived and worked in the Marysville and Everett area from the late 1970s, later settling in the Skagit Valley for the last two decades.  He was an accomplished printing press operator, often running the largest and the most complex.  He loved nature and science fiction as well as concerts and plays.

Bill is survived by his wife, Doris “Dorlee” and three daughters, Lucille Brown, Audrea Kirchner and Dorea Watson-Tate, as well as his four grandchildren, Israel Brown, Jonathan Kirchner, Patrick Kirchner, Katherine Sakai and one great grandchild, Trenton James Sakai.

He will always be remembered for his quick wit and his passion for telling it like it is!

So sorry to learn of Bill’s passing. I worked with him at K&H back in the 80s and early 90s. He was always helpful and willing to teach. I remember him very fondly.
