Bonnie I first met in 2006 , when I got a job at Creekside Retirement Community, Bonnie moved in 2003 . She was one of the ” Lopez Ladies” as I dubbed them. Lopez residents that Bonnie hung with were Marguerite Goodrow & sister-in-law Ona Jean Goodrow & Frances Erickson & Margaret Ann Jenison & Kay Ballou & Ann Bartholomew. ( I hope I did not forget anyone ) Bonnie would sometimes play Bingo with Marguerite & Frances but mostly she just liked her Lopez friends. Her eyes got worse & she quit playing bingo. She would show up at all of the activitites at Creekside that she could & always in company of her Lopez friends. Bonnie got her hair done weekly & was always a lady & I never saw her without a smile in her eyes & in her heart. Then she moved away but would still come back to Mona’s Creekside Salon to get her hair done. Bonnie was wonderful & all those Lopez Ladies were at those Pearly Gates waiting to greet her with open arms.
