Serving Sedro-Woolley and all of Skagit County since 1935, Lemley Funeral Chapel, a three generation family operated funeral home is dedicated to serving the community in a personal and professional manner. Lemley Funeral Chapel was established by Harold V. Lemley and with his sons Robert and Richard operated the funeral home until their retirements. Richard’s son, Rick Lemley, then owned and operated the funeral home for many years. In 2012, Douglas Hutter became a partner, alongside Rick, and now fully owns the business since Rick’s retirement in 2020.
We offer a full line of services including traditional funeral services with burial, cremation options, memorial services, caskets, urns, burial vaults, and memorial markers. We also offer pre-need planning as well as pre-need funding options.

Veterans and service-members are eligible for burial in a VA national cemetery. An eligible veteran must have been discharged or separated from active duty under conditions other than dishonorable and have completed the required period of service.
This includes the services of funeral director and staff, embalming and preparation for viewing, use of a slumber room, making all necessary arrangements for the graveside service to be conducted at a local cemetery.
A Memorial or Celebration of Life Service can be held either before or after cremation takes place. Services held prior to cremation are traditionally held in a church or funeral home chapel where the casket is present.
