Alvin E. MacAllister passed away June 24, 2002 at his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 71 years. He was born October 28, 1930 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota the son of Arnold and Teresa Syres MacAllister. Alvin was a resident of Houston, Texas for the past 10 years and formally was a resident of the Everett area for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict and he worked for many years in the electrical industry. Alvin enjoyed bowling and fishing. He is survived by 2 sons Gregory MacAllister of Monroe, WA and Gordon MacAllister of Charlotte, NC and a daughter Jeannette Boser of Monroe, WA. 2 brothers William MacAllister of Acme, WA and D.E. MacAllister of Smokey Point, WA and 2 sisters Emma Wells of Acme, WA and Margaret Cook of Friday Harbor, WA.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Inurnment Services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Greenhills Cemetery in Burlington, WA with Pastor Ron Schenk of the Lyman Baptist Church officiating . Military Honors will be provided by George Baldridge Post #43 American Legion. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
