Nora and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Jan. I had the privilege of knowing her all my life. What a wonderful gentle person, loved by everyone who knew her.

I also interacted with Jan frequently at Skagit Valley College when she was special assistant to President Jim Ford. She was totally professional and competent in every way, always with a warm greeting and smile for everyone. Essentially she was the go to person for administrative staff; always had the answers. I think Dr. Ford would be the first to say she made his job one heck of a lot easier. A remarkable lady indeed. I feel fortunate to have known her.

To her great husband Ray and the entire Allen family we offer our heartfelt sympathy. We along with your many friends share your grief.
God’s peace, Bill and Nora Shuler

A wonderful classmate; smart, caring, curious. A leader amongst her peers. She will be sorely missed.
