Anna Mae Lucier, 88, a resident of Lyman passed away on August 17, 2022 at Skagit Valley Hospital.  She was born on April 18, 1934 in Leyden, North Dakota the daughter of George and Blanche (Beauchamp) Urlaub.

Anna lived in Moorhead, Minnesota and moved to Washington State in 1978.  She became a Registered Nurse and later worked at Boeing.

She loved to cook, sew and garden, she loved to prepare meals for her family and friends. Anna and Dick shared a home in Lyman, WA. They loved to take care of it together. Enjoying playing cards with friend and camping in Eastern Washington.

Anna is survived by her husband, Charles (Dick) Saunders; 3 daughters, Robyn Nugent (Mike), Randi Smith (Mike), and Renata Lucier-Parker (Dan); 4 sisters; 3 brothers; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her 2 sisters; a daughter; and granddaughter.

A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 11:30, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 37828 Cape Horn Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA. Share your memories of Anna and sign the online guest register.
