Anthony Floyd, Sr.

Tuesday, November 17th, 2020

Anthony David Floyd, Sr., 40, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Burlington, WA.  He was born on October 23, 1980 in Yuba City, CA to Jack and Winnie (Stidman) Floyd.

Anthony’s interest were varied and many.  He loved animals of all kinds, especially reptiles, large sea animals, and large jungle cats, growing up he wanted to be a Zoo Keeper.  Each new animal he discovered, he would research diligently until he knew everything about them.  He was the same with any topic that caught his attention or his interest, cars, music, science and technology, hiking, snowboarding and so much more.  God blessed him with many gifts and abilities, intelligence, personality, a seeking mind, the ability to sing and play all kinds of sports. He never met a stranger, and liked all people, calling many of them his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Jack and Winnie Floyd; son, Anthony “AJ” Floyd, Jr.; daughters, Shylee and Sativia Espinoza,; their mother, Kearsey Molish; brother, Russell (Beth) Floyd, of Kentucky; their children, Hana, Jacob, Jessica, Allyson, Jace and Adeline; other nieces and nephews, Tyler Floyd and Morgan Floyd, of California, Jarod and Benjamin Simons, of Washington; aunts, Nancy Stidman, Debby Stidman, Mary Stidman, Linda Dilley; uncle, Stan Floyd; cousins, Matthew Stidman, Lavonne Rualo, Laurie Beltz, Penny Patin, Carrie Jean Tuley; second cousins here in Washington, William Stidman, Dilyn Stidman, Emily Stidman, Chloe Stidman, and their mother, Tobi Stidman; other cousins and relatives that he never met.

He is also survived by numerous, life-long friends, who have reached out to express their love for him and how much they will miss him. Every one of them related that he was a loving, caring, funny, smart and loyal friend.

A Celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00AM at the Inspire Church, 805 Township St, Sedro-Woolley, WA. Hello I am very sorry for your loss I didn’t know Anthony at all. I was so touched by his face he truly glows even in the paper. I believe that he is in heaven and still never met a stranger. Maybe this touched me because I am the same way. Jan Simpson
