Arlyne I. Zeiger, 80, a lifelong resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born on April 16, 1922 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Karl and Fannie Cook Zeiger. Arlyne was raised and attended school in Sedro-Woolley and also went to Skagit Valley Jr. College in Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church, the Territorial Daughters, Quilters by the River and the Book Club thru her church. She enjoyed knitting and sewing for her family and friends, painting and doing calligraphy.
She is survived by; a nephew, Ray Starr and his wife Pat of Tacoma, a niece; Gail David of Tacoma, 2 grandnieces; Lisa Goering and her husband Tim of Bellingham and Tracie Foley and her husband Randy of Tacoma, 2 great-grandnieces; Lindsay David and Rayli Foley; cousins Bud and Sandy Cook of Hamilton and their daughter Julie, and a special friend, Naomi Kelley. She was preceded in death by her parents Karl and Fannie Zeiger and a sister Karla.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday May 26, 2002, at 6:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Wayne Sligar officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
